Dancenhance Entertainment
(The abbreviated version)
Summer/Winter 1999: Four UA students began discussing a project to earn some money while having fun - event vending for party production. The dancenhance.com domain was purchased, and the initial web site and logo were created. Dancenhance began vending at countless events around the region.
March 2000: Dancenhance starts in the event promotion arena with "Green". Despite some serious venue setbacks (ask us sometime), Dancenhance produces a hugely successful first event. Green's attendance was over 500, and the crowd was wonderful.
July 2000: Eager to prove itself as more than a one-hit-wonder, the group pulls together a second event called "Lo-Fi". Success allows for the first DJ Audio equipment purchases.
September 2000: The third installment was called "3", as Heath had sold his share of the company, and it was the third event, obviously. Success once again.
December 2000: Haul the Decks (a play on Deck the Halls) produces another financial and social success. The highest attendance of an event to that point was achieved, at 550.
The Year 2001: "Green2" was the only Dancenhance event. Ian sold his share of the company leaving Anna and Justin as the sole owners. It was quite a busy year with vending at 60 events in 52 weeks. Time to take a small break to finish up school. Fast forward to 2003.
The Year 2003: Businesses take notice of Dancenhance's success. Event consulting and marketing for clubs/special events around the region begins. Dancenhance DJs become a staple on Dickson street. Equipment rental to the public begins. (Check the Pro Audio Services page for equipment information.) "Green3" comes and goes as a successful event.
The Year 2004: Anna & Justin decide to focus on event entertainment. Dancenhance officially enters the special events area with Performance Audio Services for local gatherings, weddings and club events.
Now: Dancenhance is everywhere in NWA from ballroom dance and karaoke events to city festivals and business conferences. A very special thanks to everyone who has believed in us. Thank you for reading this far!
